If you want bad customer service, endless runarounds, and zero accountability, Synchrony is your jam. CareCredit Flashbacks: I’ve used CareCredit before—another Synchrony product—and thought it was bad. This Meineke/Synchrony Credit Card takes it to a new level of absurdity. TL;DR: Banged my head against the wall to resolve issue #1 with Synchrony & Meineke. Got a 100% refund from Chase on issue #2. We are prepping for Small Claims Court because of Synchrony’s stonewall tactics. My advice: Do not use Synchrony Bank for any merchant services or credit cards—personally or professionally. I contacted Synchrony Bank to do a wire transfer to a third party, which was my aunt. I informed Synchrony that I was not the account holder for the third-party account I was wanting to do the wire transfer to and even told them it was okay to talk about my account with my aunt.
Everything was good to go. The very next day, I'm unable to log in to my account via the app or online. I received an email stating that 'my external transfer accounts were suspended because I was not the account holder for one of the external accounts.' Now remember, I informed Synchrony of this already.
I'm unable to activate my ATM card I have in my account and can't even get to it. This is ***

If you're looking for a place to be ignored, gaslit, and fleeced of over $$$$ for repairs that didn't fix your car but made things worse, Meineke is your one-stop shop. And when you dare to question that outrageous bill, Synchrony Bank delivers a masterclass in corporate indifference.

Beware of their policies
Have been making my payments on my Lowe's card just as required. These idiots at this Bank were holding my payments because they were confused as to where I wanted the money I was paying them to go.
I was absolutely confused didn't understand what they were saying, they were holding my payments because they didn't know which invoices to apply them to which made me delinquent after 90 days of them holding my money. Complete idiots!

I put a new a/c unit in my house right before I sold the house. The person that bought my house, also got a check from Bank of America to pay off the unit.
The check was cashed by synchrony, as per the bank; but was never applied to my account. You need to fix this. The check was bought by Norman David Bryant.

Well, Google fixed the phone issue, but screwed me over on the store credit I was supposed to get.When I originally placed the order that got flagged as fraudulent by Google/Synchrony, I was told I'd also receive $350 Google Store Credit for placing that order and using their financing.After they incorrectly and falsely flagged my order as fraudulent on September 8th, they wouldn't restore my original order and told me I had to resubmit it. I did so, per their recommendation, and it went through.Today, I received the phone, and I went online to check for my store credit, only to find it was not there.
I reached out to Google Store Support via chat, and they told me that because the phone was re-ordered on September 8th, and the credit offer ended on September 7th, I didn't get the credit.Oh, *** no! I want that $350 store credit that was offered to me when I originally ordered the phone re-added to my account. Google/Synchrony caused the problem when they FALSELY and INACCURATELY flagged the original purchase as fraudulent.I should not have to lose that store credit because of Google/Synchrony's mistake. This was their fault, not mine.
I just spent over $1900 on a new phone from Google. The least they can do is make right what they did wrong.
A $350 credit that I was promised in my initial order is a small price to pay for their mistakes and my inconvenience.I need a contact with authority, either by phone or email or both, to Google for someone that can actually help me. I can't keep dealing with the Store Support; they're just giving me canned responses with no offer to escalate or resolve any issues.
This past Sunday, we get notifications that Google/Synchrony flagged our orders as potentially fraudulent.
We both reached out to Google and my wife was able to get her order restored, but I had to resubmit it. Now her phone is coming this week, while I have to wait until early October!
I'm extremely frustrated, because the fault was entirely theirs, and now I'm being forced to wait for my phone when my wife, at the same address, gets hers right away. Their phone and chat support is utterly useless, and I don't know of any other way to escalate this matter.
I do not understand why Synchrony would even consider flag our orders as fraudulent, knowing that a high-price order might come through from the Google store, ESPECIALLY when the financing request was done at the same time as the order was placed!

Called talked to 7 people just to get balance on my hearing aides and all I got was rudeness and 2 of them telling me to talk lower and 1 saying no when asking to speak to supervisor.. unbelievable..
u will not get any more money till someone calls me.. I blocked through bank..

Synchrony is horrible! Do not get any of their credit cards.
They don't like for you to make payments before they are due. They hold your payments, even on electronic bill pay, and will not put it back into your availability to spend. They cannot receive those types of payments unless you have the money in your bank to cover them. Seriously?
They are waiting for them to clear? Amex and BoA don't do anything like that.
Watch out for this if you are planning on using your cards for holiday shopping. Also, their customer service leaves much to be desired!

I installed a new A/C unit in my house right before I sold it to Norman David Bryant. He bought a cashier's check from Bank of America and sent it to Synchrony to pay off the unit.
Synchrony cashed the check, but it was never applied to my account. I have sent proof twice of the check, and Synchrony keeps denying that they received it. The check was made out to Synchrony and they cashed it.
In other words, Synchrony has taken the money and still expects me to pay for it. I will not be sending them any more money!

I got to tell you I was thoroughly pleased with the offer that I got for a settlement and they were very sympathetic and concerned about my injury which is reason why I asked for the settlement thank you so much you went over and above with a 40% settlement that you gave me you guys are awesome and I will recommend you guys to all my friends thanks again John Holly
